First of all, we would like to thank you for showing an interest in the Western PA Team Bass Series.  On January 8, 2017 a group of five hardened tournament anglers got together and formed the Western PA Team Bass Series or The WPTBS.  We decided to form this tournament trail to fill a void we felt was missing in Western PA.  Our goal is to provide a fun, competitive, driven, and fair tournament trail that would provide tournaments for all team anglers regardless of skill level.

We are a sanctioned B.A.S.S. team tournament trail, which means as a team you have a chance to qualify to fish in the B.A.S.S. Team Championship. This gives you the opportunity to have a chance to compete in the Bassmaster Classic.  You also get a chance as a team to qualify to fish in the WPTBS Championship tournament. This is a 2 day tournament that pays back 100% of all entry fees received for that tournament.  During the regular season tournaments, we pay back 80% of all entry fees received.  To learn more about WPTBS please read the rules and regulations.

To become a member, you must fill out the annual membership form, the B.A.S.S. membership form, and pay a $50 annual membership fee.  When you pay the annual membership fee, you will be registered with B.A.S.S. as a team championship participant. (please read the B.A.S.S. Team Championship rules)  You will also receive a one year subscription to B.A.S.S. Times magazine.

All our information is included in the rules, therefore we will not have any pre-tournament meetings.
